the best attack chopper to ever fly besides the legendary MI-24 hind and AH-1 cobra.

Believe or not, I don't like the Longbow O.o
I prefer it without that bulky piece over the main rotor :P

To compensate that...why not some more badass updates? >:]

I like the piece above the main rotor to be honest lol. Plus it is removable. Also it gives you the ability to hover below a tree line witht he piece poking out above it so your not exposed to the enemy but can still target and pop up to destroy them.

I don't remember where I read, but pilots were complaining about the performance...like, losing it when equipped with the feature O.o

Trust me. Apaches are fast and they are nimble. Also it is a larger chopper then the cobra to. Also i knew an apache pilot as well. He was an agusta westland apache pilot (the british AH-64). Sadly he was shot down during a tour. Hes alive and well though. Before his shootdown he told me about the performance of the helicopter. And after it he told me about the safety of the thing.

Thats the thing. I doubt its the thing on top of the rotor. I think its because of all the armor plus look at the apaches cheeks (yes i call them cheeks) the ones on the longbow model are larger then the A models. Also the cobra is a little lighter its about 18,500 pounds for max take off weight compared to the apaches 23,000. But still badass all the same. I respect your opinion. But if i wanted an attack helicopter that i can trust with my life. It would be an apache or MI-24.

I'm not saying the Apache is bad, far from it!

In fact, I'd take one any day of the week to play "Red Zone" in real life :lmao:

And the fact it's kinda "ugly" to most people [weird: I think it's beautiful in its own way :P]...reminds me a grasshopper :XD: But it's very badass :la:

But I think I'd take the AgustaWestland variant, because it's a bit more powerful:

the AH64D Block III has 2x General Electric T700-GE-701D, with 2,000 shp each.

the British version uses 2x Rolls-Royce/Turbomeca RTM322 with 2,100 shp each.

Total horsepower:

American: 4,000 shp

British: 4,200 shp

5% more powerful than the American...and I know that 5% can make a lot of difference in certains situations in the battlefield :XD:

The apache looks like an angry lion waiting to pounce on its prey to me. Also i understand what your saying. Plus most people would be surprise about me talking about helicopters since they think i dont like them. Well i do. and here are the two best reasons. They take skill to fly and if im low on fuel and have to make an emergency landing. I can land anywhere as long as its open enough. Plus when i move to orlando. Im saving up to book a helicopter ride there.
